SMART Leadership Academies for Principals and Teacher Leaders
SMART believes that systemic (i.e., school- and district-wide) change occurs if student learning in mathematics and science improves.
SMART works closely with member school district administrators to help them lead the continuous improvement process in their schools and districts. This process relies heavily on school leaders' ability to inspire cultural and organizational change within their schools and districts.
Hundreds of principals and teacher leaders have participated in SMART-sponsored Leadership Academies. These two- or three-day workshops combine pre-work assessment exercises and interactive, onsite sessions, to help these administrators understand and fulfill their roles as instructional leaders.
